Independence

The assessment is conducted by an independent team. EEA is an independent third party conducting the assessment, supported by the company’s central operational/excellence team.

Go and See

The assessment should not take place in an “ivory tower” or office environment, especially with operations distributed over various offices. The assessment is to be done on the shop floor, where the work happens: “go and see”.

Operational Environment

The assessment must take in to account the environment: the conditions that surround the department/location under review.

Key Success Factors

The assessment should look at what really defines the success of the company’s operations, rather than (simply) checking whether certain productivity-improvement tools are in place.

Three Assessment Methods for In-Depth Insights

EEA employs a multi-faceted approach to gather and analyze client information, ensuring a thorough and accurate assessment. Our methods include three different assessment methods.

1. Surveys

EEA employs tailored surveys with consistent questions, occasionally adjusted to minimize fatigue, especially in the GCC region.

Using a proprietary model, they weight questions and calculate averages, differentiating results by department, gender, and service years. Tentative results are validated through interviews for final confirmation.

2. Interviews

EEA conducts interviews to explore notable survey results, verify data, and gather additional insights. These interviews help confirm or adjust scores.

The process involves at least three assessors, including one independent from the client, to ensure objectivity and accuracy.

3. Evidence Review

EEA reviews evidence and supporting documents submitted by clients to confirm survey results or validate interview findings.

While the absence of evidence may lead to minor score adjustments, its overall impact on scores is typically minimal.

If evidence significantly influences results, it is discussed with the client, who is given the opportunity to provide additional documentation for clarification.
